FAMILY BIBLE STUDY
Sunday 9:45 A.M.
Sunday morning small group Bible studies involve all ages. Adults gather to focus on God's Word with a thematic approach generally centered around units of six weeks each. There are classes for couples, men, women and young singles. High school and middle school students discover how the Bible speaks to contemporary cultural and moral issues they face in their daily lives. Elementary students are provided with basic biblical instruction laying the groundwork for living according to God's directives. Preschoolers are taught the foundational principles of God's love and His good gifts learning through play activities.
Praise & worship, Bible study, games, fellowship and fun take place every Sunday and Wednesday.
Student Ministry also includes summer camp, mission trips, local ministry opportunities, Christian concerts, youth rallies and retreats planned to lead young people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Keenagers meet once a month for Christian fellowship around a carry-in meal at the church or at a local restaurant. Lunch trips to area attractions (museums, parks, entertainment, shopping) are also planned. The annual steak dinner held each summer is very popular.
A small praise band provides musical accompaniment for most Sunday morning worship services. The music is blended with an emphasis on contemporary praise songs and choruses. Traditional hymns with piano and organ accompaniment are occasionally featured on Sunday morning. Evening services are composed entirely of traditional hymn favorites. Special seasonal musicals are presented by the choir at Christmas and Easter. The choir does not sing on a weekly basis.
